    The introductory portion of the site material provides background information on citations, citation sources, and database programs that can help manage sources pertaining to specific research projects.

  • Style Guides.
    The Style Guide present details and information on citing different types of resource works, and creating proper records in the LegalCitation database program for these types of works. Basic components of a proper citation, and thus a complete LegalCitation database record are included, as well as examples that illustrate proper data entry.

  • Abbreviation Archives.
    LegalCitation.net provides searchable tables with abbreviations for reporters, courts, and other publications peculiar to legal research.
