Basic citation components: Author, editor, translator names

The rules for entering names for authors, editors, and translators in LegalCitation records are always the same. Names should always be entered in exactly the same manner, without print attributes, no matter what publishing style you will be selecting as the format for your citations:

Invert the given (first) and family (last) name:

Smith, Janis L.

Separate the names of individuals with a semi-colon:

Smith, Janis L.; Martins, Edward M.

Always enter all author names listed on the title page of the work cited, in the order in which they appear on the title page.
